Help needed to trace old soldier

by isleofman.com 20th November 2010

Can you help an old soldier trying to trace a missing friend on the Island?

Doug Goy is trying to organise a 50th anniversary reunion of the 1st Battalion Scots Guards from the early 1960s.

Whilst he's traced many of his old comrades, he's still looking for Mr Patrick Corlett who he believes could be resident on the Island.

Mr Corlett was with Mr Goy in the Guards athletics finals of 1960-61 and he believes his father was a former harbour master in Douglas.

If you can help and can help him get in touch with Mr Corlett, please ring Mr Goy on 01329 843 770 - or ring Manx Radio where we can put you in touch with him.
