Man's body found in Maughold

Investigations are continuing into the death of an elderly man whose body was found in a ditch on a road in the north of the Island on Friday evening.

Alan Wilson, 87, who lived in Maughold, was found after a police search in the area of the Hibernia on the Ramsey Coast Road.

Police they they are not currently treating the death as suspicious, although the exact nature of Mr Wilson's death isn't yet clear.

Inspector Richard Power says enquires will continue.
