A local restaurateur is hoping to curry favour in London this weekend.
Hamid Chowdhury is leaving the Island on Sunday morning for the National Curry awards at Grosvenor House in London.
Mr Chowdhury, who has run the Millennium Saagar in Douglas for the last 10 years, is entered in the prestigious competition and hopes to improve on his impressive achievements in previous years.
