by isleofman.com 20th November 2010

Vagabonds recorded their first away win of the season beating Glossop 18-17 in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division One.

Vagas led 15-12 at half-time thanks to tries from James Hammal and Leigh Kennaugh, who also kicked a penalty and a conversion.

Glossop fought back in the second half and led 17-15 with just a few minutes to play.

However, Vagas kept their composure and drove down to the Glossop end and earned themselves a penalty which Kennaugh drove home to seal the game.
