Anne Widdecombe has been speaking about her decision to take part in Strictly Come Dancing.
The novelist and recently retired Conservative MP was on the Isle of Man this week to give a talk to the Women's Institute, and to speak to politics students at the Gaiety Theatre.
She has been a star of the current series of the ITV ballroom dancing reality show, and will find out tomorrow (Sunday) whether she has made it through the latest round.
She told Manx Radio moving out of politics and into dancing live on TV wasn't a very hard decision:
