THE coveted new title of ‘International Business of the Year’ has been won by the legal group Appleby at the Isle of Man Newspapers’ Awards for Excellence which took place at the Villa Marina on Thursday night.
Appleby is a global group offering legal services in a range of jurisdictions including Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, Mauritius and the Seychelles.
This year The Appleby Group won the Offshore Law Firm of the Year award in London, endorsing its reputation for global excellence.
The other nominees in this category were Swagelock, represented by David Hester, and Royal London 360, represented by David Kneeshaw.
The award was presented by sponsors RBS Coutts, represented by Andrew Moretta.
