Major honour for Green Mann Spring

by isleofman.com 21st November 2010

GREEN Mann Spring, the fledgling family business created in St John’s by an enthusiastic team producing mineral water has won a major honour at the Isle of Man Newspapers’ Awards for Excellence which took place at the Villa Marina on Thursday night.

The company was chosen as winner of the category for ‘Small / Medium Enterprise’. The other nominees in this category were Isle of Man Advertising & PR, represented by Helen Summerscales, and Purple Accounts, represented by David Parker.

The company has had a major impact on the Isle of Man in a very short space of time. The enterprising business is the brainchild of a Manx family and is going from strength to strength.

The company uses natural local resources to replace the importation of mineral water, benefitting the local economy. Joint founder Shane Martin believes strongly in the idea of a self sufficient Island community.

The company has also embarked on an innovative marketing campaign whilst continuing to invest significantly to develop the business.

The award was presented by sponsors Conister Bank, represented by Andrew Bass.
