ESSENTIAL gas works to provide mains gas to a section of Old Laxey Hill in Laxey have been completed on schedule.
The next phase of the project at Croit Y Quill and the Old Saints Park areas of Laxey will start on Monday, November 22.
Robert Gardner, engineering manager for Manx Gas, said: "This will require us to continue the works along the main road at South Cape/Fair Hill for approximately two weeks and this section will need to be controlled using traffic lights."
From Friday, December 3, to Friday, December 17, Manx Gas will be working up the hill from the main road to the bottom of Ballacollister Heights with traffic diversions and two-way traffic on sections of Croit y Quill Road.
Robert continued: "We apologise in advance for any disruption these all important infrastructure improvement works may cause."
