MANX Telecom’s high levels of customer service were acknowledged last night at the Isle of Man Newspapers Awards for Excellence with a major award at the Villa Marina.
Mike Loundes of Manx Telecom accepted the Domicilium Award for ‘Customer Service’. He has been part of the management team which has seen customer satisfaction levels reach their highest levels ever, thanks to the company’s ‘customers come first’ policy.
Manx Telecom has recognised that excellent customer services have been achieved through appropriate recruiting and induction procedures, training and coaching, as well as measures to acknowledge good service.
The company uses a ‘four tier’ process to track customer satisfaction, which allows it to respond swiftly to issues which may arise. The company also has a strong community presence through various initiatives and activities.
The other nominees were IOM Ship Registry (represented by Dick Welsh) and Nikki and Nigel Sperring of Albany House Bed & Breakfast.
The award, sponsored by Domicilium (IOM) Ltd, was presented by Phil Adclock.
