STAFF and volunteers at Peel Co-Op have raised nearly £300 for Krafty Kids.
The staff at the Michael Street branch embraced the Hop-tu-Naa celebrations and dressed as witches for the day to raise money for The Children's Centre.
The donation will be used to fund Krafty Kids – a free weekly arts and crafts session for pre-school children.
Janet Bailey, The Children's Centre's community development manager, said: "We are so grateful to the wonderful witches at Co-Op and their customers who raised a whopping £293.92. This will now cover the costs of running Krafty Kids until Christmas."
Krafty Kids takes place every Thursday between 10am and 11am at the Phillip Christian Centre on Derby Road.
