by isleofman.com 15th November 2010

A day after the Isle of Man remembered its war dead, the committee set up to oversee the preservation of its war memorials says it’s vital its work goes on.

The Preservation of War Memorials Committee develops databases of memorials and graves and submits an annual report to the Council of Ministers.

Hector Duff was speaking at the war memorial in Onchan, at the top of Royal Avenue.
