Sing with the Bee Gees!

by isleofman.com 15th November 2010

If you’ve ever wanted to be the Isle of Man’s most famous pop stars, you’ll get your chance this week.

Shortly after announcing there’s to be a film of their life stories, the Manx-born Bee Gees will branch out into video games.

For the first time their music will feature in the hugely successful Rock Band franchise on games consoles.

The game allows players to use instruments to play along to their favourite artists.

The iconic trio will see six of their songs offered for download to let players use them on the Wii, Playstation 3, or Xbox360.

Musicians will be able to jam along with the Douglas-born band on keyboard, bass, guitar and drums – or even sing along with the high-pitched harmonies.

The tracks will be released on Tuesday and are Jive Talkin, Night Fever, Stayin’ Alive, Nights on Broadway, Tragedy and You Should Be Dancing.

It’s the first time the Bee Gees music has been available in video game format.
