Davy Knowles to star at Blues Festival Benefit gig

by isleofman.com 12th November 2010

DAVY KNOWLES will make a special guest appearance at the Blues Festival Benefit event this weekend.

Island guitarist Davy will play at the gig tomorrow (Saturday) at the Centenary Centre in Peel.

Other acts on the bill include the Stalking Heads, Juggery Pokery. The Big Wheel Blues Band, the Mcleans and The Loose Crew.

Davy will be playing with one of them but it's a surprise as to which one.

On his Facebook page earlier today Davy said: "For all you lovely folk on the Isle of Man I shall be popping up to the Centenary Centre in Peel to sit in and play at the Blues Fest fundraiser. Come on over yessir!"

There will also be a raffle with a £100 voucher as the top prize and a CD lucky dip.

Tickets are £10 and available online from here or in person from Blues Festival sponsor Peter Norris Music in Douglas.

The event starts at 8pm.
