Fallen trees force more road closures - STORM UPDATE

MORE fallen trees have caused road closures across the Isle of Man.

 

There is a large tree down at the Crosby crossroads which are blocked. It is also possible that the tree has brought down electricity cables.

 

The MEA, Police and Department of Infrastructure are at the incident.

 

Traffic is being diverted at the Glen Darragh Road junction.

 

There is also a tree down on Ramsey Road in Laxey near to the enterance of Ard Reayrt and the road is partially blocked. 

 

A large tree has blown down in the vicinity of Greeba Bridge in Greeba leaving the road completely blocked.

 

Trees are also blocking the Lhergy Chripperty Road in Union Mills and Summerhill Road in Onchan.

 

A street light has also come down in the Rheast Barrule estate in Castletown.
