Flights cancelled due to severe weather

by isleofman.com 11th November 2010

MANX2.com has cancelled all flights to and from the Isle of Man this afternoon.

Due to the severe weather warning issued by the Ronaldsway Met Office yesterday the airline will be ceasing operations at 3pm.

Flights will operate as normal up until that time.

Most passengers have been contacted and the airline has offered to bring their travel times forward, where possible, to the early afternoon departures.

A statement from Manx2.com said: "At Manx2.com we always go above and beyond to get our passengers home but with such severe weather forecast passenger safety will always remain our top priority. Any passengers not able to fly this afternoon will be rebooked on flights tomorrow."

An extra flight to Gloucester has been put on tomorrow morning (Friday) to deal with the backlog.

Any passengers booked to travel after 3pm should contact reservations on 0871 200 0440.
