Heavy rainfall floods Island's roads

by isleofman.com 11th November 2010

MOTORISTS are urged to drive with extreme caution today after heavy rainfall last night.

There is standing water on the Island's roads which has resulted in some flooding.

The Department of Infrastructure are currently dealing with this.

Yesterday Ronaldsway Met Office issued a severe weather warning to advise residents of heavy rain and winds of up to 80mph.

People working on development sites or with property which may be vulnerable to storm force winds should prepare before the severe weather develops later this afternoon.
