Blueprint for south gets closer

A blueprint for long-term development in the south of the Island has moved a step closer.

Infrastructure Minister Phil Gawne’s announced a public inquiry will be held in the spring and proposals could be finalised by next July.

Mr Gawne says while a southern area plan is long-awaited and long overdue, it’s important a full consultation's carried out to find what people in the south of the Island want.
