A NUMBER of fake Manx £20 notes are in circulation in the Island.
Police have advised residents to be careful when handling money but said that the notes should be easily identifiable as they are not very good quality.
One note that was found had the same printing on both the front and back.
Anyone who finds themselves in possession of a fake note should contact their local police station or any police officer.
Police are also asking for people to come forward if they can help identify the person or persons responsible for this crime.
