by isleofman.com 9th November 2010

THE industrial estate in Ballsalla which was closed as a result of a fire has re-opened.

The cordon at Balthane Industrial Estate has now been lifted and access to the estate is now possible.

However there will be no access to the industrial unit involved as the scene around the building is still closed off.

40 fire-fighters from Douglas, Castletown, and Port Erin spent around five hours tackling a blaze which broke out at around 9.30pm last night (Monday).
