Calling all would-be foster carers!

by isleofman.com 9th November 2010

Would-be foster carers are invited to a drop-in session at Ramsey town hall this afternoon (Tuesday).

Staff from Fostering First will be there from 2pm to 7.30pm to talk to anyone interested in getting involved.

There are several types of fostering including short-term, long-term and respite care.

Foster carers can come from a wide range of backgrounds and age groups and can be married, divorced, single, or co-habiting.

Fostering First will provide ongoing training packages and financial remuneration to cover the expenses of caring for a child.
