LVP postpones meeting on ASSI

by isleofman.com 8th November 2010

A meeting in Ramsey this evening (Monday) to discuss proposals for an Area of Special Scientific Interest in the Ramsey estuary has been cancelled.

The northern branch of the Liberal Vannin party planned to use its regular monthly meeting as a forum to discuss the contentious idea, but it has been put back to next month.

This evening's gathering had been timed to follow on from the closing date for public submissions on the proposed ASSI, which was two weeks ago today.

The rearranged meeting will be on Monday, December 13.
