POPULAR road racer Guy Martin - who recently signed for the Relentless by TAS Suzuki team for the TT - has confirmed he will also ride for the squad at the Southern 100.
Guy, who has just turned 29, won the 2009 Southern 100 Solo Championship but was unable to defend his title this year following his crash in the the Senior TT.
Race secretary of the Southern 100 George Peach said: "Guy was devastated last July when he was unable to attempt to retain his solo championship title and promised to be back in 2011.
"It is a tremendous fillip for the club to learn of Guy's commitment to the Southern 100 next year and will obviously please his fans both here on the Island and further afield that they will have a chance to see him in action on the Relentless Suzukis around the technical Billown Course next July."
In addition to his Southern 100 appearance the Lincolnshire man will ride for the team at the North West 200 and Ulster Grand Prix in Northern Ireland, the TT and the Scarborough Gold Cup.
