Work on one of the major routes into Douglas from the north is getting under way today (Monday).
Signpost Corner, on the TT course, is to have a new drainage system, and the road is to be resurfaced.
It means traffic lights will have to be used on the busy junction during working hours.
The work will continue until the middle of next month, then there will be a break over Christmas before the scheme resumes in the New Year.
