The British Irish Assembly will be meeting in the Island later this month.
The 41st Plenary will be in the Villa Marina on November 22 and 23.
This is the first occasion the Assembly will have a Manx meeting and the plenary will be formally addressed by the Chief Minister, Tony Brown, on the opening morning.
Debates will include the Saville Report on Bloody Sunday that was published in June, with an address from the new Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, Owen Patterson MP.
There will also be a discussion on how investment in and support for tourism can contribute to economic recovery in Britain and Ireland.
That will be of particular interest to the Isle of Man, whose own tourism industry has seen better days.
