Joanna Brown's husband charged with her murder

THE husband of former Isle of Man resident Joanna Brown has been charged with her murder.

 

Robert Brown, 46, of North Street, Winkfield, has been remanded in police custody and will appear before Slough Magistrates' Court tomorrow  (Friday).

 

Brown, a British Airways pilot, was charged at around 5pm.

 

Thames Valley Police are continuing to search for Mrs Brown, 46, of Buckhurst Road, Ascot.

 

They are currently in the area of Windsor Great Park and this search will continue through tomorrow.

  

The mum-of-two was reported missing from her home on Monday.

 

Mrs Brown, who used to live in Laxey, was the daughter of the late Chris Simpson, a well-known property developer in the Island with Mill Baldwin during the 1980s. 

 

She still has family in the Island.
