DETECTIVES now have until tomorrow morning (Friday) to question a man arrested on suspicion of murdering a former Isle of Man resident.
Joanna Brown, a 46-year-old mother of two, was reported missing from her home in Ascot on Monday.
It is understood her husband, British Airways pilot Robert Brown, is the man being questioned by police on suspicion of her murder.
Thames Valley Police released a statement last night (Wednesday) which revealed dectectives had been granted a further warrant of detention from Maidenhead Magistrates' court to question a man in his 40s.
Joanna, who used to live in Laxey, was the daughter of the late Chris Simpson, a well-known property developer in the Island with Mill Baldwin during the 1980s.
She still has family in the Island.
