ISLAND telecoms entrepreneur Stuart Baggs has survived another week on The Apprentice – despite being in the losing team for the second week running.
This week's task was to sell up and coming designer fashion to the masses in The Trafford Centre in Manchester.
Stuart got off to a somewhat shaky start after declaring: "Fashion is the most boring thing in the whole world it does nothing for me. The fact that you can sell a piece of two pound cotton for £100 plus – that's like selling magic beans."
The team failed to secure the collection that they wanted, losing out in their pitch to their rivals, and were left to sell expensive recycled clothing – something that again did not go down well with Stuart.
Offering up his thoughts on the product Stuart said: "A dress is never worth £300 – recycled clothing urgh isn't that what tramps do? I’m not convinced it’s the way forward."
There was no sign of the aggressive selling technique that has got the Island businessman into trouble previously. Project manager Paloma praised him for getting customers into their shop and said: "You should have seen Stuart every person that spoke to him came in."
Stuart's team narrowly lost to their rivals but he escaped the boardroom showdown with Paloma choosing to take Sandeesh and Alex back to face Lord Sugar.
Despite Stuart's positive performance critics were still having their say on the youngest ever contestant. The Guardian's Apprentice blogger Heidi Stephens called him "a tool of the highest order" and "an epic moron".
The Apprentice continues on BBC 1 next Wednesday, November 10, at 9pm.
