Maughold residents urged to attend meeting

by isleofman.com 3rd November 2010

The second of two meetings to give people living in Maughold a chance to have their say on how the parish will be linked up to IRIS takes place this evening (Wednesday).

As at last night's gathering, officials from the Island's Water and Sewerage Authority will present plans for replacement pumping and treatment facilities, and residents will be able to ask questions and make comments.

Clerk of Maughold Commissioners Martin Royal told Beth Espey why the local authority wants as many people as possible to attend the presentation (play extended audio file):

Today's meeting is at Maughold Parish Hall, from 6.30pm.
