James Toseland confirmed for BMW Italia next season

DOUBLE World Superbike Champion James Toseland, who lives in Port Soderick, will ride for BMW Motorrad Italia next season, it has been confirmed.

 

Toseland, who won the championship in 2004 and 2007, finished ninth this season.

 

His team mate will be Ayrton Badovini.

 

The team will receive technical support from the official BMW team which will run Troy Corser and Leon Haslam in the championship.

 

In 2008 and 2009 James rode for Tech 3 Yamaha in MotoGP - the same team that Ramsey resident Cal Cruthlow will be riding for in 2011.
