by isleofman.com 2nd November 2010

MOTORISTS are advised to be vigilant after reports of loose nails on the roads in Peel.

Police have issued the warning after a motorist reported that their vehicle had a number of nails in its tyres.

The nails have appeared over the last two weeks.

Police do not believe that the damage to the vehicle was deliberate and are advising drivers that it is likely that there is a large quantity of nails located on the roads around the town.
