A NUMBER of power tools were stolen from a silver Volkswagen parked in Douglas.

It happened between Thursday evening (October 28) and the following morning in the back lane of Auckland Grove.

The tools taken were a light blue Makita percussion hammer drill with its light blue moulded case, a dark blue Bosch professional jigsaw in a dark blue moulded case and a Rage evolution circular saw in black and orange which still has the Rage logo on the blade as the saw is new.

The police are asking members of the public to be vigilant in case they are offered the tools.
