Man assaulted at Fiesta Havana

A MAN was punched to the floor in what appeared to be an unprovoked assault at Fiesta Havana, Douglas.

 

It happened in the very early hours of this morning (Sunday).

 

The victim was injured and went to Noble's Hospital, Braddan, for treatment.

 

Police are appealing for witnesses and in particular are keen to speak to a man in his 20s wearing a white dress shirt with a chequered pattern on it who may have been involved.

 

Fiesta Havana, in Wellington Street, is the downstairs area of the Slug and Lettuce bar.

 

Anyone with information should contact PC Sam Cannell at Lord Street Police station on 631212.

 

Police said they have had overwhelming cooperation from members of the public regarding recent incidents and would like to thank them for their ongoing help and support with matters of this nature.
