The director of Isle of Man airport has been defending security procedures at Ronaldsway.
Ann Reynolds was responding to recent criticism of arrangements at airports in the United Kingdom, from British Airways boss Martin Broughton.
He said passengers shouldn't be forced to take off their shoes, or have laptop computers examined separately, when checking-in for flights.
Ms Reynolds says it's easier to screen all passengers, rather than singling out individuals for checks:
