Handbag and over ?100 stolen in Douglas

POLICE are appealing for information after a handbag containing more than £100 was stolen from a house in Douglas.

 

The grey handbag which contained a purse with £140 in it was taken from inside a property on Lord Street.

 

The incident occurred between 5.15pm and 8pm on Wednesday, October 27. There was no forced entry to the property.

 

PC Horan said: "The incident occurred in a house on a busy road at a busy time and Police are anxious to hear from anybody who may have been involved in or seen anything regarding the incident."
