Steam Packet systems "slowly being restored"

by isleofman.com 28th October 2010

THE Steam Packet's website and booking system is now accessible again as are some telephone lines, the company has said.

In an update it revealed that its "systems are slowly being restored to normal" after suffering technical problems this morning.

The latest statement from the company said: "The website and booking system is now accessible as are some of the telephone lines.

"However, the main reservations number 661661 is still being worked on, as is the Steam Packet Holidays 645777 number.

"The company still has engineers on-site and it is hoped the situation will be fully resolved in the near future. We will issue further updates to keep the media and public informed as to developments.

"Passengers who have urgent enquiries should visit the Ferry Travel Shop in the Sea Terminal."
