12 year old victim of theft in Douglas

A TWELVE year old boy has been the victim of theft in Douglas.

 

The boy was walking with a friend in Strand Street when an older male snatched a £5 note from his hand.

 

The incident happened at approximately 2pm on Tuesday, October 26, around the area of Marks and Spencer and Regent Street.

 

One of three males – thought to be in their late teens – snatched the money and they then ran off in the direction of Villias Square behind KFC.

 

One of the males was described as wearing a multi-coloured hooded top and another described as wearing a green hooded top.

 

PC Horan said: "Incidents like this are rare and Police are anxious to hear from anybody who may have been involved in or seen the incident."
