Department has to save money - Quayle

Minister for Social Care Martyn Quayle has been under pressure in the House of Keys, to give assurances his department's services won't be cut.

In reply to a question from Onchan MHK Peter Karran, he said his department was making every effort to protect key functions.

However, he also made it clear that, in the current financial climate, cost cutting measures were inevitable:
