Early start planned on new health centre

The first sod will be cut this week at the site of the new health centre in Jurby.

Tynwald has approved expenditure of ?1.65 million on the project, despite claims at last week's sitting that two smaller surgeries, at Jurby and Kirk Michael, would be a better idea.

Health Minister David Anderson is convinced the facility will serve the area well:
