CLOTHING store Topshop will re-open tomorrow (Tuesday) after being forced to close for almost a month due to a serious fire in the office above.
The shop on Lord Street was closed on Tuesday, September 28 after a fire broke out in the offices of Baker Tilly at around 3.25am.
Topshop, The Caf and The Co-op all suffered considerable smoke damage as a result.
A spokeswoman for the Douglas store said it would be "business as usual" from 9am on Tuesday, October 26.
Staff from Baker Tilly are still working from a temporary office in Bucks Road.
In a statement issued by the directors of the company, they said: "We offer our sincere thanks to everyone in the Island who has made offers of help. It is impossible to list everyone individually but rest assured that we will remember always the kindness, generosity and offers of help that we have received.
"These offers have been received from all areas of the business community in the Island including fellow professionals, our clients, Departments of Government, utility suppliers and our regular supplies of goods and services.
"Lastly and perhaps most importantly we wish to thank every single member of our staff who have reacted with great initiative and have also shown what good teamwork can achieve."
Topshop will be open from 9am until 5.30pm.
