Rebecca Bayley ensured there was Isle of Man success at the Six Nations Table Tennis Championships at the National Sports Centre.

Teams from England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Guernsey and the Isle of Man competed in the event,
one of the most prestigious tournaments in the UK table tennis calendar.

And Bayley made sure of an Island triumph by winning the women's consolation title.

Alice Loveridge of Guernsey and Darius Knight of England clinched the individual titles.

Sixteen year-old Loveridge beat Emma Vickers of England in the final of the women's singles, while Knight defeated his England team-mate Chris Doran in the men's final.

Aled Howells of Wales took the honours in the men's consolation.

Ken Mitchell, the relationship manager in the business and commercial sector for main sponsors Isle of Man Bank, carried out the prize presentation.

There was also support from the Island's Department of Economic Development.
