by isleofman.com 22nd October 2010

The vessel which is expected to take over container freight sailings for Ramsey firm Mezeron has arrived in Douglas.

The Kurske is owned in Estonia and was built in 1997.

She will replace the Ingerborg Pilot on the Irish Sea route, operating out of Douglas.

It's believed another vessel, the Kalana, will also be used to expand the present service to a daily one.

Mezeron is owned by the Dohle Ltd, which is based at the Queen Anne buildings in Douglas.
