MHK wants information from local authorities

Onchan MHK David Quirk wants commissioners around the Isle of Man to reveal how much money they have in the bank.

In the House of Keys next week, he will ask Minister for Social Care Martyn Quayle what funds each housing authority holds and how much is allocated for special needs.

He will also ask about their reserve funds.

Mr Quirk says local authorities should publish such information, so ratepayers know where their money goes:
