Lack of investment frustrates MHK

A senior MHK has expressed his frustration at a lack of investment in Jurby.

Michael member David Cannan, whose constituency includes the northern village, admits he’s disappointed there’s no immediate prospect of any residential development.

Earlier this week, Tynwald voted to spend ?1.6 million on a new GP surgery and health centre in Jurby.

But Mr Cannan believes the area has generally been short changed.
