ONE Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest will be performed at the Centenary Centre in Peel this week.

It is being staged by TNT Theatre and will run from Wednesday, October 20 to Saturday, October 23.

The play is based on Ken Kesey's classic 1962 novel which tells the story of Randle Patrick McMurphy, a convict who fakes insanity to serve out his prison sentence in a mental institution.

The book was made into a hugely successful film in 1975 and starred Jack Nicholson in the lead role.

Tickets are £20 for adults and £12 for children and are available from Peter Norris Music, Douglas, Celtic Gold, Peel, Shakti Man, Ramsey and Thompson Travel, Port Erin.

The performances start at 7.30pm.
