by isleofman.com 18th October 2010

A WOMAN received facial injuries in an assault at Colours nightclub, Douglas, in the early hours of yesterday (Sunday) morning.

It happened at 1.25 am close to the smoking area of the club.

The injured woman was taken to Noble's Hospital where she was treated and later discharged.

The suspects are believed to be female.

PC Jamie Watterson, of the Douglas Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: "This is a shocking assault where the victim has received facial injuries.

"The club was particularly busy that night and anyone witnessing the assault would have been appalled by the conduct of those involved.

"I would urge anyone who may have witnessed this to come forward and speak with myself or any police officer."

Anyone with any information should contact Douglas Police Headquarters on 631212 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
