House fire in Kirk Michael

by isleofman.com 17th October 2010

FIRE crews from Kirk Michael spent over an hour at a house fire in Kirk Michael village this morning.

The fire started in the porch of the house at around 9.30am and involved the electrical consumer board.

As a precautionary measure the aerial ladder appliance was dispatched from Douglas Fire Station after the fire spread into the roof space.

The occupants of the house managed to evacuate the smoke logged property and sustained no injuries.
