POLICE are investigating a report of a hit and run which happened in Douglas yesterday (Saturday).
The collision occurred at approximately 5.15pm at the pedestrian crossing on Woodbourne Road.
A female was crossing the road when a blue coloured Renault Clio, which was travelling from the direction of St Ninians, has driven over her foot.
She was not seriously injured but was taken to Noble's Hospital.
PC Jamie Watterson said: "This could have potentially been a very serious collision but thankfully the female has come away with only minor injuries.
"At the time of the collision there would have been lots of traffic and pedestrians in the area. I would strongly urge anyone with information to please come forward."
