Island well placed to tackle future challenges

The minister for economic development has stressed that diversification remains vital to the Isle of Man's continued economic success.

In the last two years, the Island has had to deal with the global downturn, the collapse of Kaupthing Bank and the redrawing of the VAT revenue sharing agreement by the United Kingdom.

Allan Bell says many challenges still lie ahead, but the Island is well placed to tackle them head-on:
