A Roots of Empathy scheme in the Isle of Man has been deemed a great success.
It was introduced in ten primary schools two years ago, having been trialled in Canada.
The aim was to reduce aggressive behaviour in Manx children by getting them to interact with babies, who were used as 'teachers' in the classroom, to help the pupils understand the needs and feelings of others.
