by isleofman.com 7th October 2010

A CHARITY which helps the disabled community in the Isle of Man is holding an art exhibition and charity auction today (Thursday).

Project 21, who run a centre in Douglas for the physically and mentally disabled in the Island, are holding the event at The Sefton Hotel.

Art will be supplied by students from Ballakermeen High School and the Isle of Man College and after being displayed at the exhibition will be auctioned off.

There will also be charity Christmas cards available to order which have been designed by students from Ballakermeen High School’s Art Department. Money raised from the sale of these will go to Project 21 and the school.

The art exhibition is open to the public from 12pm to 5pm at The Sefton Hotel, Douglas. Admission is free but donations are welcome.

The auction will be hosted by Geoff Corkish MHK and is by invitation only. For further information contact Sharon on 07624 214841.
